we are planed to start an own webserver for our website. can any one give me a tips for own webserver requirements and how to allocate domain names for some other new websites.

To run your own webserver for your own website, you need to contact your internet provider. They can set you up with a "static IP address" which is what you would need to host your own server at your home or place of business rather than at some other facility.

Basically you need to purchase a domain name. This will allow you specify a name server (you can run your own or use someone elses) and this will direct visitors to your IP for your site. You will also need to run a DNS server if you play to host subdomains.

u can get domain from www.rediff.com
and u can make your own pc as server...(if not much space require for your website) (depends)
