HP and Toshiba are the two nicely commonplace manufacturers. Toshiba is ordinarily acknowledged as generating the excellent high quality laptops yet you besides could pay a top rate cost for this. you would be able to desire to discover that there is a HP gadget that does each and everything you like and is extra advantageous cost for funds. From a servicing point of view, I even have stumbled on it complicated to get areas for Toshiba laptops the place HP areas look extra attainable. whilst HP and Compaq merged, the HP laptops ("Omnibooks") have been quietly phased out and HP accompanied the extra advantageous Compaq workstation technologies. those have been good high quality machines and probable nevertheless are.

I own several Toshibas...not really all that impressed, but I've heard not-so-good things about HP. I'd probably go with a Thinkpad www.lenovo.com

yeah, i agree the IBMs are good. dont go with Toshiba, they';re the worst in my opinion. i currently have a Compaq which is HP and had no problems. IBM and Dells are good.
Toshiba has the worst customer service available also. i would never give them my money.
