I'm looking at moving when I get out of college. I'm trying to decide between Houston and L.A.

I'm a soon to be college grad with a good degree. I'm single and love the freedom that gives. I enjoy hanging out with friends late into the morning, but I also like quiet evenings sometimes so that I can relax.

I enjoy going to cultural events. I'm also fairly easy going. I dress in polo shirts, cargo shorts, and flip flops all year long.

Where should I go? Advice? Thanks.

L.A. is a lot of fun.....but people can be really superficial. I like vacationing out there....but don't think I would really like living there. Plus, it is more expensive than Houston. The weather is definitely better out in Cali...very low humidity in comparison to TX.

I think Houston would be a little more normal and not as crazy as L.A. People are generally friendlier down in TX compared to CA. I think you would find a good mix of cultural events in either place. I would try to take a vacation to each for a long weekend or something....to see what you like better.
