i have seen commercial saying that pirates of the caribbean 3 will be on dvd by dec. 4, but i have a question. In commercials, they say it comes on dvd dec. 4 for a limited time, what do they mean by limited time??

Disney has a window, a.k.a a time period in which they are selling the DVD.
Once the time period has expired, they are planning to take it of the market.
But don't believe that "limited time" crud. It's just something to boost sales of the Blu-Ray version, just so the Blu-Ray supporters can have something to boast about.

Limited time means a short time usually about 2 weeks. So you better get it or miss out

the two disc special addition will be out for a limited amount of time... the dvd will be out for a long long time <3

It is a Disney Movie. Disney tend to take movies out of circulation from time to time to allow the studio to remake and rerelease the movies with more extras and better resolution.
