I see so many websites online, do all the people that create it have to pay for host and domain and everything. I mean I see so many useless websites but they still pay for it? How come I hear like anyonce can do it, even teenagers and everything, so the teenagers pay for it too? (I'm not talking about those free website host like www.freewebs.com or anything)

Most people who have a domain (com/net/org/nu/co.uk/etc) had to pay for it, along with hosting, yes. Although there is a small percentage and I mean SMALL who got free domain names through other ways, like those referral sites or forums where you have to have like 1,000+ posts, although I wouldn't reccommend using them.

If a teenager has a domain name, they most likely:

1. Earned the money themselves and bought a domain using paypal. (You only need a bank account to have a verfied paypal account, and you can EASILY ask your parents to set one up for you.)

2. Beg their parents/other relatives like crazy. Whine. Kick. Scream. Etc.

So yes, if you want a domain name, you will have to pay for one. There is no magic website that gives out free domain names to everyone who asks for it. You might as well wish for world peace.

There are some free hosts, but you get what you pay for. I think I paid like $20 for 5 years on my domain name and I get hosting for free from a friend.

You would be amazed at just how many GOOD free web hosting services are available nowadays. But even more amazing is how affordable it has become, I have my own webpage with 5 GB of space, 500 GB of monthly bandwidth, for a mere 4 dollars monthly. And I pay for my own dotcom yearly just 9 dollars too.
