Brackets, then Power, then multiplication/division, then addition/subtraction.
i.e.
3^2 * (6-4) + 8
= 3^2 * (2) + 8
= 9 * 2 + 8
= 18 + 8
= 26

the answer is 26
3*3 = 9
9*2 = 18 ( 6-4 = 2 )
18+8 =26
If you have excel you can just plug in the entire equation, and get the answer...I did, and got the same answer. Always do parentheses first, then raise the power, then mult or divide, then add or sub last
