I had a problem starting my car. I went out and bought a new battery and got rid of corrosion on the wires and terminals. The car started I drove it for a while with no problems. I went to the store came out and it started no problem. I let it sit for two hours and tried to start it my radio and dash lights came on. When I turned the the ignition the dash lights turned off and the car would'nt start. Can anyone help me.

those cars have a starter relay on them that can go bad and cause this to happen ,you may have to get it checked to find out for sure, try jump stating it and see if it will start that way,if it does you may have something drawing the power from the battery ,this will have to be checked at a repair shop in order to find it,good luck with it.

It could be the alternator, or you could have a short in the wiring that may be draining your battery, get your battery checked if it is discharged then it means a short or bad alternator, if the battery is still good, then it may have a blown fusable link.

sounds like the starter gave up the ghost the draw from the the starter is great and will shut off all non essential systems when you turn the key .replace the starter and have the battery/charging system checked.

Your alternator could be the problem. Even with a new battery if you are not charging it the battery wont last long.
