The reason why I ask is because I was supposed to get my period a couple of days ago... and all I'm getting is a lilttle on and off very light pinkish brown spotting. I'm on birth control I have my period on wednesdays every month. They are always the same light and short but they have never been this light and have never been on and off. So is there a chance it is caused by the hpv shot I had earlier this month? Or is it caused by something very different like I'm spotting from implantion bleeding!? I know its not likely to get pregnant on the pill but not as unlikely as I thought because I asked early on today how many people have. I was shocked with the amount of people who have.
My boyfriend was going to get a pregnancy test to ease my mind but he got off work really late and was too tired! SO I'm basically freaking out here and need some sort of answers!!

Yes, it's possible that the HPV shot could cause some spotting but also being stressed out about something whether good or bad can cause spotting to occur (I've had this happen before).
I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
