access my pc by just hitting enter key when the password window which comes up just as i boot my pc.i m in a lot of trouble i realised abt this yesterday actually my dad dicovered this. further more my parents think i hav been on my pc all this while....to add to my woes my internet supplier quoted a bill of rs 2000 or $50 for dowloading 2 gb!!! so pls pls help....jus let me know ho this happens!!!

If you are concerned, and you should be, about how much time and what sites are available, there are a lot of ways to take care of that short of the almost useless lock down methods provided by Windows 2000. Securing Windows 2000 for real is a novel of it's own, but for $20 you can download and use ez-internet-timer and content filter currently available at:

this will allow you to set limits on internet use, appropriate content and bandwidth. With a guardian at the gates you can take it easy. Computers are very useful tools and knowing how to use one is an indispensable life skill at this point. Enthusiasm for their use in proper moderation should be encouraged.
