Have you tried 'sudoku'?
Someone gave me an extra thick book of these darn puzzles ...
Have a pencil, and an eraser, on the ready.
Lie with head propped on three to four pillows.
Pull knees up to form a tent.
Prop book opened against tent knees.
Attempt to do puzzle.
Guaranteed to be asleep within five minutes!!!!
Far outweighs counting sheep.

Tylenol PM or a few beers/glasses of wine. I only sleep around 5 or 6 hours a night and usually need a bit of help to get that much!

The best sleep aid is sex, however if that is not available go to the gym. I go to the gym at 10pm and I pass out in bed at 12am and sleep well through the night. However, that said I would much rather be fat and getting the first alternative ;)

Meditate.
And before you knock it, it works very well, and has helped me often.
It's easy too.
1, Lay in bed, close eyes.
2, Listen to your own breathing, and try to slow it down.
3, Think of only slowing your breathing, nothing more...
4, Wake up the next day!!
PS, between 3 and 4 you really need to only concentrate on your breathing, nothing more, if any other thoughts enter your head, then concentrate on your breathing real hard.
It works.
Well, for me anyway, and I recommend it.

First off I would be thrown in jail. Second I might lose all of my precious points that I have made on Yahoo! HA! I wish they would these twits.............
Unisom works but the next morning is not worth it after you have smashed you face into seven walls from the affects of the pill. I usually drink a glass of warm milk then pick out one of the Women from my Harem........! Big smile there..........!

This really works:
Get out a boring old textbook, dim the lights and read it in your bed. If possible, pretend like you have an exam tomorrow and you reaaally need to study. If you're anything like me, the book will bore you to death and you'll fall asleep in no time.

ITS NOT A JOKE:
The best natural Tranquilizer is considered having sex and then relaxing. It sooths you and make you relaxed in the end and you have a good sleep.
Or you can take any muscles relaxant to get sleep too.

take a warm bath, a0pply lotion to your arms, legs, and face (preferably with chamomile or lavender), make a warm cup of tea or hot chocolate, snuggle up on the couch or bed and watch some tv until you fall out
