Only in certain cases example a man will find it easier to get a job as a welder whereas a women will find it asier to get a career in nursing. but in both instances there are many who do get jobs identified with the opposite gender. as for health both genders have to face issues that are gender specific. such as colon cancer is more prominate to men and should be checked for regularly as you get older but men don't have to worry about breast cancer.

I am a middle aged woman. I have had horrible experiences which I would not have had if I had been a man such as being raped on dates twice and going through several abortions not to mention the monthly cramps which kept me bedridden for about 3 days a month every month.

I also see lots of men who hate women and it comes out right away--they react to me in a nasty hateful manner immediately just because I am a woman and it is very tiring.

Women are second class citizens. How many times have you heard women called horrible names, starting with b, s, and no one even thinks about it. What if every time someone used the n word for blacks, not one person said anything because it was so common?

In short, there is widespread hatred of women and women do not even recognize it for what it is usually. Women need to stand up and not take it anymore, the namecalling, the put downs.

It doesn't hinder me. I know that being a girl as a waitress or pizza delivery person I'm likely to get a bigger tip from a male. But I assume guys get the same thing, girls tip them better than guys do. So I don't think it really matters in the grand scheme of things.

Yeah, RJ is right. Women can get anything they want with looks, brains or both. Can get a rich husband and be set for life or get into great career and a rich husband and be set for life. Men basically just have themselves to make the most of their lives. Women , despite flase claims of inequity, have more oppurtunities and I am a women so believe it baby! Men should be pissed and stand up for themselves more in the face of feminism or they will be stuck in this rut forever. What is good for the gander is good for the goose boys so do as women do and get all you can out of life.

Some times being a woman has made it more difficult for me to get what I need for my children, They all have learning disabilities from severe to mild and when I had to go from being assertive to being aggressive to get them the help that they needed. It would turn a lot of people off, because it's not what they expected from a woman. But if it had been their fathers doing the same thing it would have been more acceptable becasue they are men.

Mikey don't fool yourself, Men die of breast cancer!!!! I know because my daughters father died of it in 1988. 1% of breast cancer patients are men.

I don't think gender means anything. It's like eye color or skin color. Totally arbitrary. If you have talent in a particular skill or area of expertise you can go as far as you need to.
Except in the Catholic church. Enough said.
