does the use of clutchless shifting eventually ruin your clutch, and/or transmission? (05 corolla s)

The syncromesh clutches in your transmission that bring the two gears to the same speed will be severely stressed.

You will burn these out quite quickly doing this.

Then the gears will grind when you try to shift properly.

Your transmissions gears would rather have the clutch working together in sync. Even if you can work wonders with the timing of the shift, You will wear your gears out faster.

since the transmission in your car is not designed to be used in such a manor, you will eventually wear out or break the syncros in the transmission

Can't ruin your clutch if your not using it. And as long as your not grinding the gears to get them in.....then you should have far less wear.

Its more likely to cause serious gearbox issues, your olny relying on the synchromesh to locate the cogs, really bad idea because gearbox are expensive, especially considering your doing it why? just heard you could and thought you would try it out? bad idea! honestly, if your clutch cable/hydraulics have crapped out, get it fixed ASAP! tow it if you have to!
