They played to a virtual tie (except for those extra ten points) with a second string quarterback, two missing starting defenders and without their best return man.
In a rematch - the Packers win easily.
A few lucky passes - a few bad calls - if they go the other way, the Packers would have won this game.

And no (to preempt the obvioius follow up questions) - I am not high on crack.
I reached these conclusions based on crystal clear, pristine logic and brilliant, error-free analysis.

Ummm, whatever you say. You must have been watching a different game on a different network tonight. They were clearly on the verge of getting blown out about the time Favre got hurt. Then Dallas pretty much put it in cruise control, like teams tend to do when they get a nice lead. The Packers have been a (realistic) .500 team all year just playing over their heads and getting way too many close victories. The result will be the same IF GB makes it back to Dallas for the NFC championship.

I disagree also! You could logically say that Brett Favre hurting his arm actually helped the Packers. Dallas prepared for Favre to play and obviously knew his game, hence leading by 17 and causing 2 interceptions prior to his injury.
The Cowboys had little to go on with Rogers and he used that to his advantage. He played well and the Packers fans have something to look forward to after Favre finally hangs up his helmet.
As for bad calls, they went both ways. The Pack's tight end completely pushed off and threw down his defender when they scored their final touchdown. It wasn't called offensive pass interference, but you move on. Romo's (Better yet TO's) interception in the end zone was a bit of luck to go the Pack's way. Both teams had costly penalties and many stupid penalties.
However, Romo came up with big throw after big throw when they Cowboys needed it most. The Cowboys would have won by way more if Favre had played the whole game.

Dallas are the best in the NFC.
but the Packers are not out of the ball game. They showed me they can contend with big teams tonight. They brought in a 2nd string QB that hardly plays, and he gets 2 TD and 7 completions. they brought the game back to a 3 pt game. That was enough for me to see that they are really a great team.
But because Dallas has the better record and because they played better overall tonight. They are the best in the NFC. And im a huge packers fan. Just calling it like it is.

Not today they weren't. Look, I like the Packers. They did play missing some starters. But injuries are part of the game. And there were times when Dallas did what they wanted offensively. The Packers didn't have a good game plan and Dallas played solid. They won and were the better team. I've dealt with it. There's still a quarter of the season to go. Anything can happen.

Disagree: You need to remove your head from your butt!!
A 37-27 win for Dallas is not a "virtual" tie! The calls you talk about were legit. Dallas had injured players, too.

Extra ten points? When Favre left, the Cowboys relaxed. It took a while for Dallas to realize that Rodgers could lead the Packers as well as Favre could.

I agree because they have more depth than the cowboys do i mean look what happen when favre went down aaron rogers went in there and took care of business for them and nearly won them the game. You think if Tony Homo went down the cowboys would of done the same thing?
I dont think so.

These are always the excuses of the losing team's fans. Bad calls, bad drops, someone got hurt..yeah..
Look, I know we weren't healthy..especially with Brett being out, but the point is, we lost. And if we meet them again in the playoffs, we have to go back to Big D. Only reason we'll win then is with a more solid gameplan with Favre..none of this chuck and pray crap he was doing before he got hurt.
