It wasn't bad.

I actually had to make a correlation between the poetry of John Donne, Andrew Marvell and the tenants of a group called 'Abstinence Clearinghouse'.

Basically, I argued that their poetry offered appreciable examples of the kinds of pressure exerted by people to convince others to bump uglies; using Donne's "The Flea" and Marvell's "To His Coy Mistress" as sources. I had to fight the urge to use the phrase "bump uglies" in my paper, though.

Absolutely. It's a waste of time to spin a yarn that doesn't create a little havoc.
