HA! Now that I have your attention, could anyone tell me some cute alternatives to bandanas when you are having a bad hair day? No one cared about this question when it was labled "bad hair day question". I just want advice on covering you hair when running to the post office or whatever, and am sick of looking like a biker or a hippie with my bandanas.

you got me!! lol. on my bad hair days I wear a cute hat I actually shop for them, not just a baseball cap but something that can be semi dressy, stores like Burrington Coat factory has really cute hats, as for headband get cute silk scarfs and headband w/ the attached scarfs are the latest thing ive seen them in Marshall's/TJMax in the accessory/perfume area. I like different hats. I have a ton of different styles that I will just throw on. You can also try pulling it up and using some cute headbands that are out now. Scarfs can work really well too

A bad hair day calls for a barett I have with pretty jewels on it to distract whatever my hair is doing that day. I can either pull it into a ponytail and use the barett . Or pull it to one side and use small hair pins with jewels.OR put in to a side ponytail, so 80's !

cute hats are always an option
but one thing that is less expensive and cute is a messy french braid
it's not that hard to learn how to french braid your own hair
plus it's okay for french braids to be messy!!

you could also try a messy bun
or depending on your hair's texture you could get styling gels that amplify curls and give you a cute beachy hair look or some moose for that crunch waves look

LOL Try a headband or pull your hair up into a ponytail and add a ribbon. Or wear a hat. You can also hide messy hair in pigtail braids.

ew please promise me you will never wear a bandana in ur hair after i give u these tips:

-try slipping a headband into your hair. (the headband should rest at 2 inches back from ur hairline) (if you have short hair, use a skinny one, if you have longer hair, use a wide one)

-pin a few bobby pins into your hair. (trust me those things work like magic)

-or you could just spritz some curl defining spray (or cream) into your hair, and scrunch it. (it takes like 1 minute)

lol...you shoulda saw the look on my face when I read that!!! Umm so yeah....a cool little skull cap would totally go good if you had on the right outfit.
Or a ponytail allllllwayz works w/ a really cute and sporty head band

i have adopted an i dont care attitude...if you are just running to the post office, why do u have to look good? i go with my hair all over the place and laugh at people trying to look good for strangers they dont even know or will never see again

Great idea, (lol) now that you've our attention. I see the girls wearing these satiny/silky head bands that are really cute, also tis the season for hats.
