ok there are these two kids i lnow and work with .they are both brothers.one a little older than me (18) and the other one the same age as me (17).well we all get along, but i have been away from other kids my age for many years now hat it is hard for me to know what to do to have fun.my parents haven't been able to afford or had the time to sign us up for any sports or anything like that(oh i am homeschooled).let me tell you my stepmom won't do anything for anyone but herself.enough of that, the problem i am having is that i live in a small town where there is nothing to do for fun.the nearest city is 20 min away.so we hung out the other day and i'm sure it went well we had lots of fun,but now i seem to have lost my nerve to ask them if they want to hang out again.mostly because i can't drive yet (only 4 months to go) and don't want them to think i am using them, which i am not.it is just placing me in a complicated position.another reason is that i don't want to come off to strong.

sorry ran out of room.plus my house is really boring due to all my stepmoms rules, and how she tries to embarrass me in front of my brother's friend.sure i have a good gaming computer and a 360,but wheres the fun when you have a sel-centered over-controlling stepmom breathing down your back.so i always like to be out of my house whether it is taking long walks up hiking trails or just walking down to get a soda.so any ideas on how i should ask?and what things could we do?

Ask them to 'hang out', but don't suggest driving.
That is some unusual home-schooling if you have no opportunities for contact with kids your age. People who home-school their kids usually take care to plan activities with other home-schooling families.

Just ask them if they want to hang out.
Suggest going for a bike ride to the mall, or arcade or some where and do something u all like to do.
Ask them if they would want to go ride to the movies, or go camping in the park, or go eat at burger king or somewhere.
Go for a picnic in the parrk. carry out some pizza or something. Then go for a long hike or walk around the neighborhood.
Ask them to come over ur house. Take the gamesystem into ur room, and play it w/ them there. or invite them over when ur stepmoms not home. Thats another way to go!
HOpe that helped.
