Let x be an integer.even integer means it must be divisible by 2.
Let 2x and 2x+2 be two cosecutive even +ve integhers,.
2x(2x+2)=120
4x^2+4x=120
or
4x^2+4x-120=0
the multiples of 4 and 120
4x120=30x16
=5x2x4x4x3
4x^2+24x-20x+120=0
4x(x+6)-20(x+6)=0
so x=5 or-6
so the consecutive integers r 10 and 12.
