I love your question. I have three friends that met their spouses on My Space. I was stunned but they are very nice people, and make my friends very happy. But I for one, am to skeptical for doing something like that.

I have a lot of friends and stuff that i met in school first and then we exchanged our MySpace accounts, so I'd say that there are normal people. But then, at the same, what do you consider normal?
Have fun and be safe, I would say don't give out your personal information on the first email, not until you became really familiar with the person but keep in mind that people lie

Connecting with people you know or friends or friends is cool on MySpace but totally strangers not so much. I don't know anyone who's picked up a another normal person they met for the first time on the site.

i know several people who have met on myspace and ended up in a relationship. one couple even got married and has a new baby. theres nothing wrong with it. just be careful. some people are psychos

There are some that try. However meeting anyone we meet from on line is at best risky. Though sometimes there are nice people we run into.
Personally I don’t pick people up anymore, I’m getting to old :-(
to many of them kick and scream so much that it throws my back out trying to get them over my shoulder.

Hmm..yeah I would guess so, I mean if you wanna meet someone on there then it's fine, just be careful though. It would be just like meeting someone anywhere else. Like if you just met someone you don't know them very well either.
