Not having to worry about anyone else but, yourself.. Having your own space and only your own messes to clean up... Inviting your friends over and deciding when everyone leaves...
However, having a nice, clean, well-mannered roommate isn't bad either as long as you set-up and maintain "ground" rules from the get-go.. Two bedroom/ two bathroom a MUST !

You can walk around Naked, THrow your clothes in your sink, stay up late watch tv and rot on the couch when you want, Be loud in the bed room, have parties, etc.
But then again thats also all the irresponsible things that you can do, lord knows if I did any of thoese I would be out of a job because I called in to work because I didnt feel like going I wanted to watch tv....... Its nice to think about tho.

For me to be able to design it the way I want it, that means custom paints, bathroom and kitchen remodelling. And the fact that I am not wasting all my money on renting.

not having to wear a bra around roomates! and if your in a hurry to get home change and leave(or your bringing home someone that wants you naked) you can start throwing off clothes as soon as the door is closed! and then..... just walk around naked.

You can leave dirty dishes in the sink, not make your bed, not worry about anyone else seeing you in your jammies!! lol
Number 1 best thing is: PRIVACY!
