the cold goes right thru my bones and gives me aches and pains in my ankles, knees, wrists and shoulders and fingers, winter has come here and we have at least 4 more months of frigid weather, I plan to do a lot of hibernating, I have my crocheting and knitting and enough books to last me thru March, I also love to cook and watch TV so I have no problem staying in the house.

Oh yes. The leg I broke a few years ago has ached all week. Time to start popping those pain pills again.

P.S. I can't figure out the picture on your avatar. Is that a little Christmas tree?
P.S.S. My next guess was going to be a Lava Light! Thanks for clearing up the mystery.

Nope, not since we moved to Texas. It's been getting up around 70 every day here. Boy, I sure did feel the bone chilling cold when we lived in Iowa, though!

Yes, I have thyroid disease and it makes me very cold. My hands are freezing right now. I have some arthritis in my thumb joint from an injury, that particularly hurts. It was a lovely day, but will be in the 30's here tonight.

Yes I am. It is about 28* tonight which is warm for Northren New York at this time of year. It reached 40* today but very rainy and damp.
I'm achy all over esp. in my joints. Arthritis is not nice!!!

Three weeks ago I could hardly tolerate the pain in my left shoulder...
I thought I was going to have to get a shot which I dreaded so much.
I had tired everything...
I had a man tell me to try Aleve every four hours and see if it worked.
I could not believe it, after trying several different ointments, different pills, the Aleve after three days took it way.

Very understated, that.
As my joints join the ranks of the rest of the seniors on this site, I have only this to add:
Put another log on the fire, tuck my blanket close around me, & bring on the hot chocolate-NOW!!!!!
