My brother is a new broker for a wall street firm. I know that stock brokers drive BMW's, but I don't know what shoe they wear. I've heard that the round toe Bostonians are typical, but I don't know.What shoes are the ones understood to be the most appropriate for show at work.

Please provide a link in your answer to the shoe you suggest, and explain why you think this is the most appropriate style.

Anything from Brooks Brothers will be fine.

In NYC, brokers don't drive BMWs. They take the subway.

for shoes and stocks.

Being a Californian, I would go with 99cent flip flops. I don't know what the crazy east coasters wear. Probably something black and leathery.
