I guess your talking about a Gas oven and is it an electric heater? If the heater is electric you can sleep for as long as you want. I wouldn't take any chances on the stove because it needs oxygen to burn and gives off dangerous CO2 a silent and deadly killer throw a nice comforter over me at night as I sleep with the window open almost all winter "New England" I wouldn't use any heater that burns fossil fuels do to the danger of CO2 I love to snuggle under the heavy blankets and shiver for a few minutes, after that the body heat kicks in.

No, if it's gas, you risk CO poisoning. Even if it's electric, you will damage the oven as it is not designed to be a space heater. Use your main house heating system set to 60 degrees and put two or three blankets on the bed, that's what I do. Electric space heaters are more expensive to operate than most central heat systems (unless your central heat is electric resistance heat). If you decide to use a portable electric heater, make sure it is at least three feet away from anything that could catch fire.

Never use an oven as a space heater. They are not designed for that purpose and can cause a fire.
If the oven is gas you are risking CO poisoning. If it is electric you still are creating a fire hazard.
Just buy a $15 space heater and be safer.

Lets look at this way. If it is a gas oven then you are taking a big risk that you wont get affected from the carbon oxide it will produce. Also if it gets to a certain temp. It could shut off and what would happen if the pilot went out? Now you are filling the house with gas. Turn a light bulb on and Kaboom. We will be reading about it in the papers. Get an approved electric room sized heater. More efficient and this way you are heating the room your in.

I wouldn't do that.. It's very dangerous... It's better to throw an extra blanket on the bed and wear warm jammies.... Get a small space heater or an electric blanket...

That's not a controlled heating condition and things can and do go wrong. Your overheating the oven to start with, the wiring etc. this isn't made for this type of heating.
