My employer is trying to find me a new job without me knowing, and I feel that I'm being forced out of my job is that Illegal?

How in any sense of the word is this harassment?


As to "being forced out of my job is that Illegal" that depends where you work (State) in the US. In VA which is a right to work State "either party can terminate the employment without cause" means they can fire you without notice or comment and you can leave with out comment. Some States may require a written reason for termination or a review however non I know of for a transfer internally.

Maybe he is cutting you a big break.
Did you ever consider he might be about to fire you, but he's giving you a break by trying to find another position in the company for you instead???
This is certainly very legal. he's looking out for you as best as he can.

It may not be right, I don't know. He may be trying to find a job you are better suited for. But the accusation of harrassment is WAY out there.
