Thats hilarious "if she supported kucinich..." There are people who cant get past the whole dem vs repub thing. Few if any get it. Anyone complain who Oprah is backing? Too bad, get over it. I wont vote repub but the last time i watched the repub debates Mitt and Guilianni pretty much killed each other while ol' Fred Thompson ran away with the gold. So if you whine about celebs being leftists just remember it was the right wingers that got us into this mess in Iraq.

Its rather loaded question but I will take turn at end or the barrel for this one. I would feel no different then I do now. I would take their opinion as no higher or lower as I would any other stranger I meet on the street. That is, I would gladly listen, and debate the issues with them, but I won't flat out agree by default because of who they are.
Sadly there are many less independently minded people that often take celebrity word as 'gospel' truth. Rather then going through the effort of ,as I think, they view the painful process of forming their own opinions based on facts they research for themselves.
The complaints steams from the fact that often celebrities abuse the advantage of their positions in life of having a more visible and broader reaching platform to push their opinions on to these lesser independently minded people. In some cases they are receiving special compensation from political figures for their highly visible and outspoken support. They do not have the best interests of their 'fans' at heart. They have the best interests of what would benefit their own power and wealth. They are powerful people, and powerful people are far more likely to have personal agendas wrapped up into their as they most often present supposed unbiased opinion on politics. To think otherwise is naive at best, and down right stupid at the worst.
The largest compliant I have in regards to this issue is against everyday people who have become sheep willingly following the pied piper of mainstream media even if they are leading them to slaughter. It saddens me to think so many would rather trust in the glossy finely crafted words of few that have had the simple luck to falling into the category of celebrity. Instead of getting off their duffs and learning something about the issues that will impact their lives, their children's lives, and their grand children's lives.

You cant get rid of their constutional actual to unfastened speach only because of the fact they're nicely-beloved. confident celebrities have a lot of impression over us "little human beings" yet they nevertheless have the suitable to assist whomever they elect. those that base their votes on what a nicely-beloved individual say is the main suitable candidate is pathetic and might learn how to think of for themselves, dont blame human beings like Oprah and Chuck Norris for this blame the folk who're to dumb to think of for themselves.

In a recent documentary on Republicans in Hollywood (History Channel), the (Labor Union backed democratic party) will see to it you don't work much in Hollywood, nor will you be invited to Hollywood power parties where connections are made if you are not a democrat.
Sounds like blackmail to me.

I don't think any actor or performer has the right to use their talent as a stage to talk politics. And I don't care which side they take.
Unless they are running just shut up and entertain.
Same as a church, you want to ge involved in politics pay taxes.
