If you care about this man he must have qualities. One of them does not seem to be making you happy, or you have not made your feelings on this clear.
Even if it is hard to talk about finances with him, if this is important to you, it needs to be important to him, or he does not care about you.
You MUST also speak with someone closer to you and your boyfriend to talk through the details. It is clear that he and your opinions on financial responsibility differ, and you should work through this with a 3rd party in detail. This forum is not a good place as there are so many factors.
As a casual comment, unless this person is someone you feel you may have a long term partnership with, you should be looking to end this relationship and move on. Perhaps your short description is too one-sided but if you feel the facts you put above are a complete story, you really need to deal with the fact that you care more than he does, and that usually means moving on. However, if you feel he is committed to you, and just doesn't "get it" as far as the bills go, then communicate, communicate, communicate, no matter how hard it is. Tell him how it makes you feel, and what you think is a fair arrangement. This may raise his respect for you and improve your relationship.
Good luck

You tell him to pay up or move out. Let him know it's cheaper for him to pay you 1/3 of the rent than moving out and paying 100% at his new place. If he still refuses to pay, you will need to go down to the court house and request an eviction. Depending on the laws of your state you can have him out as early as 30 days after filing. If you kick him out on your own, he can call the cops and they will make you let him back in.
Don't let this man use you. You have a child to support, and if you are paying all of the bills yourself, why do you need him? You need to find a man who is willing to take care of you and your child. He's acting more like a roommate than a potential husband. If he had your best interest at heart, paying his part of the rent wouldn't even be an issue.

I love it. I bet the baby daddy is happy his child support is going towards paying some other guy's rent and utilities.
You need to sit down and say.....I need you make a monthly payment towards bills. The total costs are $X and I think it is fair that you pay 1/3 of $X per month.
Not sure what you mean, taking candy from a baby, that means something is simple. If it is simple then what is the problem?

Dump him!!! If he refuses to pay rent, then you need to kick him out. Your primary job is to take care of your kid, and your "boyfriend" isn't mature. He sucks your electricity, drinks your water, watches your cable tv, and the child support is suppose to take care of the child, not help subsidize the boyfriend taking more then his share.
He needs to grow up. There are people all over this country who pay rent, has car payments, has credit card debt, and school loans, and still pay there share of the rent.
He needs to grow up...

You don't have a boyfriend; you have an adopted child! If you say that you don't want to be without him, then get used to living in poverty. Find a real man. Kick him out or move into your own place.

Taking candy from a baby = means it is easy.
You are using that phrase wrong.
Try "talking to him about money is like pulling a tooth" (something hard not easy like walking up to a baby and taking its candy).
Go to school, learn more and then you won't need him.
Practice your English phrases.

You should not only give him a thirty day notice to leave, but also find yourself a new boyfriend. He sounds like a serious leech.
