Even when you have no control over it....things just seem to happen one by one...

Explanation...kids wake up in a crabby mood, they get my order wrong at Mcbarfuls, and when it does come its cold. Some guy runs me off into the median and scares the crap out of me, I call the cops, later find out he had meth, and the car was stolen. Get to the picture place where I was headed, some lady picks a fight cuz she was there before I was, yet she was a walk-in, I had an appointment. I manage to somehow stupidly lose a blank-signed check from my husband, out of my wallet IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREAKIN MALL. Was lucky to have a kind sole return it to lost and found (thank God!)...then get home at 2 am, while kids are screaming (they've hardly stopped all day) all becasue my goofy mom took her sweet time shopping at Target and making the kids madder...(takes me 2 hrs to get home I failed to mention)...

thanks for letting me vent...lol

I always say if it wasn't for my bad luck I wouldn't have no luck at all. I know what you mean since one thing started off bad it just seems to follow and never seems like its gonna get better.

Because when something in the beginning of your day doesn't go the way you like, you end up having a poor outlook on the rest of the day as well (no matter how hard you try to ignore it or look on the bright side, it sneaks its way in there).
Hope your days get better!

I don't think it's always true. I think that if your day starts off bad, and you have the expectation that things will continue that way, or you're on the lookout for more adversity, then you're very likely to find it.

'cos you make your own luck. People that are down on their luck may turn to God and pray....but I always say Be your Own God. if something is not working for ya, the best person to make the change is you

I think it's part of that Murphy's Law thing

Because you choose to have it be that way, rather than choosing to start your day over with good luck!

Your negative attitude attracts more negativity. Or at least makes it seem that way.

since you're in a bad mood, you probably only see the bad things that have happened.
