It seems that everyone I meet lately is always in a bad mood, people get all mad at me because I'm always in a good mood. Like, I go to school, and I'm happy, then people are all dramatizing and moody. Then, little do they know, they bring me down a couple notches just because of their sick attitudes. Do you ever notice this, or are you a grumpy munchin to?

I'm sorry, I was laughing at what you wrote! It was great because I used to experience the same thing too. I'm a happy, upbeat person that will find the rainbow behind the silver lining in the darkest cloud... and sometimes there are people who want to create "drama" for the attention they get. But I don't want them to rain on my parade while they do it! This of course excludes the drama kings and queens who are family and friends! Something that I've found that really stopped people from trying to bring me down was when I said to them "gee, it sucks to be you doesn't it?" and then I smiled as if it was a gentle joke, which it was. But it did get the point across. Do you think it is something that would work for you? It's an option for you anyway! So no, *I* am not a "grumpy munchkin" but am a "happy camper!" ♥

for many people, the holidays are the loneliest time of year.

some folks have lost loved one who have passed on. as a consequence, there is intense loneliness for those persons who have los parents, grand parents or other loved ones. this is so because the holidays is a time for family and happiness. if, you are missing a parent, brother/sister, grandparent who loved you very much and who you also loved greatly, it can make for very sad feelings during the holidays.

added is the fact that winter, with the change in daylight saving time cause us to have less hours of sunlight. the cold and drab feelings of the winter season adds is own kind of sadness.

for persons from the east coast who now live on the west coast, and for all who have relocated, there is the sadness of missing friends and loved one.

also, there is more eating and drinking and more concerns about health.

like you i am not impacted by all the sadness. your happy and cheerful mood helps all those who are feelings the bla's of winter.

don't let all the bad moods get you down. keep your cheerful attitude.

soon everyone will lighten up, moods will change and we will all be happier.

Wow, you are right. I have had a bad day today, everyone has been all mean and critical towards me, and I didn't know why, they had no reason to act this way. My friends have been criticizing & putting me down [nothing new though, I guess. It just really got to me today, so I guess I am grumpy too.] Even people I had nothing to do with were mean to me..I have no idea why people are acting grumpy. I guess I am in reaction to the way other people around me behaved.

I cannot speak for other people, but I know that I am grumpy because I do not sleep well, and I never get a day off because I work full time and go to school full time. Sure I made that choice, but I did not make the choice for stupid people to piss me off all the time and bother me when I am busy.

Nah, I'm not grumpy at all! Or as a famous magnet showing an old sailor surrounded by young gals reads: "You only go around once in life, but if you do it right, once is enough!"
Enjoy!

If I am grumpy and you are always in a good mood, how can my grumpy bring you down? Sounds like your good mood is fake! If your good mood is real it should bring grumpy up not the other way around!
