If you're really a man, but one that is "totally secured" about himself, crying it would be as another thing in your life, no big deal, just a human being being human...

Only if your dog dies, or some other very close friend or family member. That whole schpeel about women wanting men to be sensitive and share feelings is something some wish for and sorry they get it. As awful as it is, i think when guys cry, they become a "nice guy" and will be stuck in the role of "I only like you as a friend) it is the sad truth.

It's fine to have guys cry. I think that those that cannot let out their feelings at all are basically jerks or just hiding behind a facade. I think that those who can cry are wonderful and more sensitive to others feelings, which is an endearing quality in a guy/man. I know one guy that refuses to cry or show any emotion to anyone, and he is very selfish. I know another man who shows all of his emotions and is not selfish by any means.

Varies with cultures. Some cultures it is very common for men to cry, others it is unheard of. If you think you are in a "tough upper lip" situation, find a quite unpopulated area and let loose. Really helps get the emotions out.

Tears are one of the things that humans (and many primates) produce when sad, males and females alike. Why deny a basic human trait?
Men are no less manly because they cry or feel emotions strongly.
We are culturally trained to think that men don't/shouldn't cry, but there's no real justification for that belief.

depends on culture you come from as well as your society. best not to bottle emotion up. Your better off finding a release before you blow and reach for the gun.
Find a new hobby to distract you or find a quite room and let loose. Break something! brilliant way to let loose or roar your head off some place where you wont draw attention.

=( sorry about your dog, I always cry when one of my pets dies. As for men crying, eh, it makes me feel uncomfortable, but I feel uncomfortable around anyone crying... I don't do well handling other peoples emotions =\

It is perfectly normal. We are all born crying. Why should you stop just because you're older. You have to let it all out sometimes.
