Probably not dangerous. Knowing where you are would help, of course, but I can't think of any nasty ones offhand that would fit that description. There are tons of different kinds of spiders, and almost none of them are any kind of dangerous to humans. You'd be well-advised to be more worried about bees or autos...

Too vague a question!!!! Try reposting with a better description, and a general location.

One thing I will say is that it was definitely not poisonous. There are no poisonous spiders on the entire earth. However, except for a select few, they are all venomous, there is a difference.

Poison is a toxin that is ingested either by mouth of through the openings in the skin, like your pores or an open cut. Some amphibians secret a poison through their skin that deters, and sometimes kills would be attackers.

Venom, on the other hand, is a toxin that is injected, either by a stinger, fangs, or in the case of a spider chelicerae directly into the body. Snakes & some other reptiles, bees, wasps, & hornets, some insects, some mammals, and spiders are all venomous, but not poisonous.

Just thought you would want to know that!!!!!

We don't even know which continent you are on. You description does not give us much to go on. Try:
termite.com/spider
bugguide.net
see if you can find your spider.

white and black spiders must be police spiders. They don't sound dangerous.
