I have an Emglo and a DeWalt air compressors, both with pumps KU model, a new pump costs around 350 to 380....plus s&h.
I found a pump Central Hydraulics for $120 w/ 2 yr warranty, but there's a line going to the head of the KU that the C.H. don't have which I think it releases a bit of pressure to start the engine ...it's not the safety valve.
Any idea how to hook it up? or what kind of valve do i need to get? or just cancel it with a cap?

Is this the pressure drain valve line that would drain off the pressure after the motor stops?
Some have a valve that drains off the cylinder pressure so the next start up isn't under load.
This valve is sometimes located on the air pressure cut out, and sometimes it is a centrifugal valve located on the pump crankshaft.

see if you can get the install manual for the new pump and see what it suggests. many manuals are available on line if you look hard enough.
