Well, I couldn't find anything in the MI health code about piercings in restaurants, but google popped up a restaurant review for a place called "Zingermans Deli" that included this....
"One place they don't cut any corners is with their service. Don't let the piercings fool you - their staff knows their food. "
Sounds like at least one place doesn't think it's a problem.
Remember though that MI is an "employment at will" State. That means that your boss can fire you for having piercings even though they're not illegal.

if female employees have their ears pierced then so can you.
