I'm an international student studying in Sydney, and it's the summer break now. Most of my mates have gone home, but a couple of them are Sydney people. I also just moved to live by myself in a shared apartment.
What can I fo furing this summer? Should I get a casual job?

Hit the sydney beaches, we have hundresds of them, but make sure you lather up on sun cream as our Australian sun is one of the hottest in the world.
If you need the money get a part time job as a waiter or bartender coz you'll make friends this way. Go watch a movie at the IMAX theater, take a tour to the Blue Mountains or Hunter Valley (depending on your age...)

Summer in Sydney is great. If you can afford it, don't get a job. If you can't afford it, get one.
