Housewives & Stay At Home Moms .. answer this for me please ...?

Question

If you stay home with the kids and devote yourself to taking care of them and hubby and do everything in the home 100%...and because of this have no financial income... do you think ...even though hub pays bills...
you should be able to have access to the bank account to buy gas.. apple juice... kids clothes... etc.. without having to ask every single time you need something..

please answer this and no rude remarks.

well, of course you should have access to the funds in the bank. When you are married, doesn't everything belong to BOTH of you? That includes the money. And, even though you are a stay at home mom, that doesn't mean that you should be doing absolutely everything- your husband should be helping out with housework and childcare when he's at home. When he's at work he does his job and you are doing yours, when you're BOTH home, the work should be shared. Did you know that in some countries, the government actually pays stay at home moms, knowing that they are doing the most important job on earth- raising the next generation to be good and useful citizens. I agree completely with you.I had to ask my hubby every time but now I go to the bank and get the money out when I need it. Its not that I am buying designer bags for 1200 bucks. I am only getting the money out when I need it for household things. Good luck......

If this is an agreement that you both agree with, then absolutely yes. Does your significant other want you to work?

i am a homemaker...no children...just my husband
he takes care of us and i have a bank account in my maiden name...money left to me from my parents... and he knows it
he never ask me how much money i have and he pays for everything!
every woman needs her own money and freedom...no matter how much she loves her family
