Here's the first two...

6x^ -22x + 12
(2)(3x^ -11 + 6)
(2)(3x - 2 )(x - 3 )

18 + 7x^ -x^4
substitute y = x^
18 + 7y - y^
-y^ +7y + 18
(-1)(y^ -7y -18)
(-1)(y - 9 )(y + 2 )

a. 6x^ - 22x + 12 = 6(x - 3) (x - 2/3)

b. 18 + 7x^ - x^4 = (-x^-2)(x+3)(x-3)

c. 2x^ - x = -3
This is an equation; so only go to:
x(2x - 1) = -3

d. 2m^ + 7m = -3
Also an equation; therefore:
m(2m + 7) = -3

e.x^ - x - 72 = (x - 9)(x + 8)
