For some reason, every time I try to get to gmail I get a message that Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. Every other site works just fine - just not gmail. What can I do to fix?

Were you able to access gmail in the past? Google is slowly rolling out an update to Gmail, from Gmail 1.0 to Gmail 2.0. Those who have been switched to Gmail 2.0 have reported multiple problems with the new version. The most common complaint is that, when they try to go to gmail.com, it takes a very long time to load and in some cases it times out. My feeling is that your account was upgraded to Gmail 2.0. The problem lies with Gmail and not Road Runner. Google is aware of the problem and is working to correct it. Be patient, and hopefully Google will correct the problem soon. You can read about it in PC World Magazine's article:

"Gmail Update Draws Gripes
Gmail 2.0 is supposed to be faster, but some users complain it's the opposite--and crashes their browsers." -- written by Juan Carlos Perez, IDG News Service (http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,139761/article.html)

The exact same thing happens to me - I think it has to do with Google's site - because it is the only time it happens to me.

Hope you find an answer.

Good Luck!
