Apparently, they have more important issue to concentrate on: abortions, immigration and - o my god, I'm so sorry to have forgotten it! - Iraq. The latter has so far cost us how many billions? For what purpose, exactly? So, next time you hear somebody b.i.t.c.hing about where to get $$$ to insure everybody in this country, just ask him or her to look at the funds spent (and very well spent) on Iraq's "liberation".

Hmm, it always puzzled me how people manage to have strong opinions based on, well, nothing in lieu of knowledge.
To Jeff A: you know, health care and level of medical services in "socialist" France beats the crap out of ours.
To Mike: Maybe it would, but I already see the health care system destroyed - and it's in private hands. Meantime, govermnent-run Medicare works just fine.
To Doc - if you think that health care is a privilege, go tell it to 47 million of your uninsured fellow Americans, I'd like to see what kinda response you'll get.
To Old Scout: you know, I'd love to see the money I pay in premiums be spent to help some poor needy sould. But wait... What am I saying? I'm sorry, I completely forgot that in your beloved "privately run" health care system about 35% of profit is spent on overhead and bureacracy. My bad!

For those who are really interested in facts before they make up their mind: in Newsweek (issue of July 30, 2007), there's a great article on this matter by Jane Bryant "Yes, We Can All Be Insured".

I don't like it at all. It is shameful.
The only real discussion about the troops was concern about whether a soldier was gay, not whether he or she will receive mental health services if they return. None of the good christians discussed the shabby care our troops received at Walter Reed and the long waits to sign up for VA care.
It was a good thing they didn't because it left room to talk about our rush to war in Iran. Oh wait they didn't talk about that either.

The questions were hand picked by CNN (liberal news network). How do you like that!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and by the way national healthcare doesn't work, go talk to someone from Canada or Great Britian the lucky ones who had the financial ability to leave their country for medical help they couldn't receive under their national healthcare. The billions spent on the war in Iraq is to KEEP the freedoms we take for granted because as sure as pie you wouldn't be able to *********. about funds spent.

As it should be!! Did John Adams and Thomas Jefferson duke it out over HMO's and deductibles?! What I cannot even begin to believe is that two of the Democrat frontrunners are bickering back and forth over whose health care plan covers more citizens. Who the hell cares!! The function of the President of the US is not to draft a health care plan but rather to PROTECT THE SOVEREIGNTY OF OUR NATION . There are Islamo-fascist terrorists who would like to attack our country again. There are mentally unstable dictators who are pursuing nuclear capabilities. What the hell are the Democrats doing spending so much time talking about coverage levels and deductibles. What are their positions and proposals related to these relevant and critical issues? Can anyone tell me? What's that - - diplomacy, sanctions, oh yeah, those wacko dictator types always respond rationally when someone asks them to stop misbehaving - - pretty please with sugar on top.
IT IS NOT THE FUNCTION OF THE GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE YOU WITH HEALTH CARE. IT DOES NOT SAY IN THE CONSTITUTION THAT EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO GOVERNMENT SPONSORED HEALTH CARE.

I believe that Hilary has a failed health care plan that you may be interested in.
And for those who did try to look at her policy had this response;
" In the many years of studying American social policy, I have never read an official document that seemed so suffused with coercion and political naivete ... with its drastic prescriptions for controlling the conduct of state governments, employers, drug manufacturers, doctors, hospitals and you and me.
Only a liberal looking for a direct handout could appreciate her plan.

I'm wondering why you have a problem with our health care system as it is now. Is it too expensive? Maybe it is but look on the bright side, when you pay your high premiums and deductables, you are also taking care of several unfortunate souls on welfare. Doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy?

Since CNN (Clinton News Network) took great pride in the first 10 minutes of the debate explaining how they carefully hand picked the questions from all those submitted, fault CNN.
Oh and hand picked the questions of at least four Liberal activists no less.
CNN, the most distrusted name in news...

I've been studying my Bill of Rights and still, have yet to find where it says I'm entitled to "Free" health care. Maybe it has something to do with that being a p-r-i-v-i-l-e-g-e and not a right? I have healthcare, I had to work and earn it!
