Not really. The most thumbs down I ever received was when I made up my own version of the Ten Commandments in response to a question that asked me to do so and I got huge thumbs down from all the Christians who flipped out. Even then, it didn't really annoy me.

Some people just go through and give thumbs downs for no apparent reason. it's irritating.... in fact, i'd like to tell them where to shove that thumb.
if people don't agree with me about something, that's fine, but thumbs downs are for ignorant answers, off-topic or just plain stupid answers. i would never give someone a thumbs down just because they had a different opinion than me. i'm just glad this doesn't take off points when you get one.

Yeah... I mean why thumbs down someones opinion. I can understand a thumbs down if the person was insulting someone but if someone says they like say rap instead of rock... come on now.

Only when it comes from a stalker. If it comes from someone who disagrees with what I said that is their right. However if I say that grass is green and get a thumb down that is just spiteful and unrelated to the question..

No because sometimes I'm shooting for humor and I actually get a rsponse which is positive. 75% of the time I'm being serious.
Really, I don't care about thumbs down ratings.
Why? Cause I'm working for free and Yahoo holds points and levels over my head.
I don't care about points or levels also. Whats the point? To show that I'm a sucker for Yahoo's system???

Yes, because I always answer questions on here to the best of my ability....and getting a thumbs down makes me feel like my hard-thought answers weren't good enough.

Yes, because I have a strong business background and find the people giving me a thumbs down really do not have true life experience on business matters. Life is not run like a textbook.
