I want to know who sings the song....its a new version of the old song Ooh Child

Nice song! It's called "O-o-h Child" by the Five Stairsteps. Though they had a bunch of other releases, this was their only big hit, reaching #8 in 1970. Despite that, they have a greatest hits CD! It can be seen here:

The version of O-o-h Child used at the end of Life (11/28/07) was by singer Beth Orton. It's on here CD 'The Other Side Of Daybreak'.

Methinks it's gospel artist Kirk Franklin's reworking of the Five Stairsteps' classic from a couple of years ago that was used on "Life".
