I thought when I got married that it would be "happily ever after", now that my husband dumped me after 27 years, I'm laughing my heart off.

Yes, there are a lot of things that I think back to that just seem so ridiculous..But I guess that is just how human beings work. There are stages for almost everything that you can think of.
