UMMM...WHY DID HE DO THIS TO ME ???
there's this super cute guy who liked me and i liked him too...he always tried ask me out...but he never directly told me that he liked me but i knew since his friends had told me...i guess he was intimidated by me or something...or maybe he feared that i might reject him....anyways, he would always tell me that i should go out, or maybe go to a party/club with him...he asked me why i was dating anyone or didn't want a boyfriend, i told him because i just wasn't ready for a relationship yet....so i think he kinda got his answer...anyway, a month later i was at a grocery store, gettting some stuff and as i'm exitting and going towards my car...i see him there too...i think me saw me too and that's why he started pretending as if he was tying his shoelace...so he bended down and then i couldn't see his face...so i get in my car and wait and then he walks off toward the store and i can clearly see that it's him...

however, i'm wondering why he didn't say hi to me or anything?
I'm not sure if he's mad at me or what....i mean, why would he be mad at me when i didn't even "reject" him...???
he just completely acted like he didn't know / see me....
And why was he pretending to tie his shoelace when it wasn't even untied ???
i was gonna go say hi to him but i didn't cuz i didn't want things to became even more "awkward"....

he is btw too prideful and has a big ego...so i guess maybe that's why....i don't know...it would have been nice tho if we said hi or something...

He felt you've indirectly rejected him
Well, can't expect him to hang around waiting for you, because honestly a guy can't tell if a girl really meant she's not ready or she just simply doesn't want him. I mean, I've seen it myself where a girl says she doesn't want any relationship until she finishes her studies and few months later, she's with another guy.
He felt rejected, he has to move on, and avoiding you is one of the easier way of moving on.
If you wants him, its now or never. If it ever comes to a day where he can face you without any awkwardness or bad feeling, you'll know that's when he has already moved on and your chance is gone.

Kat, you honesty this guy thinks you have given him the big brush off. Some people especially if they are socially insecure can't fully understand people like us. I work in a industry that requires me to travel interstate or overseas. I love the work I do and find being in a relationship as baggage and interrupts my work that I'm to remain 110% focused on. When I try to explain this to a socially insecure person they get the feeling I'm giving them the brush off not understanding, I've already given up a lot in life to work in my professional career and what I do is what I have chosen to do way before, I have ever met them. If they can't accept this being part of the package of having a relationship with me, to walk away. There are a lot of people like myself in the film, television and entertainment industry who might find a socially dependent person who can accept professional people like us and there are others who you meet are just like this guy you met that are self obsessive.Don't worry, you will find a gem who will love and accept your decisions this guy wasn't one of them.

i guess he did not know what to say you said you were not ready for a relationship so maybe he felt bad and did not want you to see him
