zyph...it wasn't a dog, it was a pet teddy bear in a classroom...and the kids voted for the name but the teacher was held accountable, accordingly...but anyway
wackiest name, I had a dog named Freeway...after the dog on an old show hart to hart...anyway...he was a purebred, so his full name was Sir Freeway of Kensington...he was a shelty :)

My friend thought of this years ago, he called his dog,
Dee-oh-gie or like he said, I'm spelling dog. The dog loved it and lived to be 16 years old. It did drive his neighbor's mad too!
