hi there i was wondering when you will be putting up your tree? or have you got it up and lit already,
i have a 2 year old daughter who is getting excited aout christmas trees as she has seen them at the shoping centres and yesterday we chosse decorations when would be the right time to put it up is it too early? other questions say day after thanx giving but i dont know when that is.

If other christmas trees make your 2 year old excited then what are you waiting for the clock is ticking.

I usually start putting Christmas decorations up a day or so after Thanksgiving, but I wait until the first of December to put up our tree..If you feel like getting into the holiday season and it sounds like your daughter is, than go for it..I hope you and all those you love have a wonderful Christmas season filled with many PEACEful moments...;0)

Well we put ours up Dec. 1st. But we have a fake tree, and we've had it for say about...since I was born lol. But we pick themes each year for the tree and house! Like 2 colors. Like Silver and Blue, Silver and purple, Silver and Green, and Silver and Red, Even just random/multi colors. But when we chose a set of colors, we do that to the outside house with lights, and inside too. It's really cool to choose a set of colors, because it makes a house look more neat and clean, and really elegant and pretty. But also for the star, we switch off by putting the star up. This year I put the star up 9: next year my sister or mom does. (:

In my family, the tradition is that the tree goes up the weekend after Thanksgiving and stays up through the first week of January. Afterall--it's a lot of work to get the house all decorated, so why not enjoy it?

It's going up this Saturday. We usually always put it up the first weekend in December.. and take it down in between Christmas and New Year's.

I try to get them up before the 1st of December rolls around. I just finished putting up my main tree yesterday.

we have always put ours up thanksgiving night...our tradition is to have lunch thanksgiving day then put up the decorations at night so that we have something to look forward to other than just eating and the holiday being over..lol..but yeah its just a tradition.
