A difficult Math Question =O?

Theor destonations are Florida, South Dakota, Colorado and California and they are traveling by bus, plane, van, or car. Read the following clues to determine the first and last name the destination and the means of transportation for each child, show your work, explain your answer.

1. The Hughes girl went by car.
2. The family going to South Dakota went bye van.
3. Sally went to California
4. The miller boy went bye bus.
5. Scott went to Colorado.
6. Neither the car, nor the Barlets nor Scott went to California.
7. Tim's last name is not Miller.

We assume that Cindy and Sally are girls and Tim and Scott are boys.

Tim's last name is not Miller (7) and the Miller boy went by bus (4). Therefore Scott's last name is Miller and he rode the bus (4) to Colorado (5). Sally went to California (3). She's not a Hughes (1, 6) or a Barlet (6) or a Miller (4) so her last name must be Brown. She didn't take a car (1) or a van (2) or a bus (4) so she must have flown in a plane. The remaining girl (Cindy) has last name Hughes (1) and traveled by car (1), so Tim's last name must be Barlet and he took the van to South Dakota (2), leaving Florida as Cindy's destination.

Scott Miller is the Miller boy since Tim isn't a Miller Tim who is going to Colorado is going by bus because it states that the Miller boy went by bus.

Cindy Hughes is the Hughes girl because she went by car meaning she didn't go to California so it must be either Florida or South Dakota, but it must be Florida for the ones who went to South Dakota used a van.

Tim Barlet is the Barlet because the Barlets did not go to California and Sally is the one who went to California, so the only destination left is South Dakota, it also says that the family going to South Dakota went by means of a van.

Sally Brown is the Brown since there is nothing stated about the Brown girl I guessed she is the one for all the others have their last names, she is said to be going to California, she is not using a car for the car did not go to California, and the family going yo South Dakota used a van, and the Miller boy traveled by bus so it makes sense that the only choice left is by plane.
