well i have a math problem and it says carey rode his bicycle miles in 1 and a half hours what was his average speed??

i need an answer but most importantly how to do it .

You take the miles Carey rode and divide by 1.5 hours. It's "miles per hour" meaning miles divided by hours... Since you didn't mention the distance, that's as far as I can go.

Speed= distance/time. I see time, I DONT see distance, so you dont get speed.
