Nothing even close I'm afraid. That's why I'm keeping my Chevelle.

There will never be cars like you mentioned ever again. One of the problem in trying to compare them is the new ones are so much better mechanically but we can't work on them like we could the classics.
In the era your cars are in, it was a big deal when you got 1 horsepower per cubic inc, now 2 and even 3 are being cranked out of these little engines. This also makes it hard to compare.
I'm old enough that I was able to go to the showroom when the new cars came out and saw the tri-5 Chevys, the 300 series, the first muscle car 1964 GTO, all the muscle cars than came after. There will never again be a time like that. For me this kills all similarity between now and then.
If you're thinking about a modern day hot car the Ford Mustangs will get it done.
Don't try to compare it's too tough.
If you're looking to buy, sell or just want more info about classic cars, muscle cars and hotrods come over to my website at http://classic-car-hunter.com
Thanks,
Don

and the Pontiac Trans Am is gonna make a come back.
with a muscle look.

I'm assuming you mean a retro throwback. More recent/new ones that I can think of are the new Mustangs, the Thunderbird from about 4-5 years ago, the new Camaro.

They have Dodge Chargers and although they are not exact they are pretty sweet cars themselves.

No, there aren't.
And there never will be again.
The closest around would be the Charger.
I had a '74.
My ex bought an '06.
They aint nothin' alike.
I liked mine better.
