My mom is a teacher and the other day one of her students found a quarter with two heads. She told the student not to spend it and to bring it home and show it to his mother. How much is a quarter like that worth?

I guess that it's possible a joke coin, but my mom said that on one side the head was normal-looking and on the other side it was partly cut off, so I really have no clue.

Probably not much. They sell double sided coins all the time. Mostly for cheating at coin tosses and stuff like that. But if it looks like a legitimate coin, i would get it appraised at a local merchant or rare coin collector.

If the two heads are on the ame side, it is worth a lot. Its a mint misprint.
If the head is on each side, then it is as previously stated a joke coin. Worth a few laughs.

It's actually worth a lot, because he can constantly flip and get heads, winning all bets with suckers that fall for it.

Have you ever seen a snake, or a turtle with two heads? How about a child with four arms and four legs?
