Dayton is a dangerous place these days. I think the police are too trigger happy with their tazers.

If I have to use a tazer on someone in the course of my duties, it is because they were a danger to myself, themself or others. It is considered in a catagory right under firearms. When Police use force it is used to stop some kind of dangerous activity. We do not have the time to worry about a suspects health. If they were worried about their health. If something goes wrong there is an investigation and if the officer is in the wrong they are liable, legally and fiscally.

I do not think this is a major enough issue for our presidents, and they probably do not either.

Very Good....

Stunners or Tasers are very dangerous but not out of the realm of reason either.

Another question - If a person has cocaine or crystal meth or even too much caffiene in their system, a taser will almost always cause a heart attack (and has resulted in many deaths).
Do police act as judge, jury and executioner (literally) when they use their tasers on people who are unarmed and not yet guilty?
Do people deserve to die for being high?

Presidential candidates are not thinking about what could happen to a person who is tasered because they are only trying to impress potential voters with their tough stand on law and order issues
