I'm with the old. I want to see more Western conference teams play the Eastern. I'm starting to get tired of seeing the same teams 8 times over the course of one season. For once, i think Bettman has finally said something right about going back to the old schedule

I'm sick of seeing the same pairings every other freakin' night.

Giving this busted experiment a 3rd year was completely unnecessary and I'm very much looking forward to it being scrapped. With that said, I am a little worried about what replaces the current scheduling system.

We're all assuming it'll go back to what it was before the lockout, but that is not a given.

The new schedule is retarded. The Avalanches biggest rival is the Red Wings and we only play them twice a year. On top of that we only get to see people like Crosby, Malkin, Ovechkin, etc. Once every 3 years. Who the h-e-double hockey sticks comes up with this crap anyway? Whatever moron is in charge of scheduling needs to be canned and please lose Bettman while we are at it.

The old system, no question. I live within driving distance of 3 hockey towns, (Nashville, St. Louis, and Chicago) and the Sabres aren't playing in any of them this season.

Obviously the old. I can't see why any would support the unbalanced. It will be changed for next year anyway.

I prefer the old schedule, thankfully it sounds like they will be changing it back next year.
