nursing and think that my 1 mth old has milk/soy intolerance and am trying to pin point problem.

What they typically suggest is that you remove dairy products from your diet for 3-4 days (or 2 weeks if you are still not sure). Then introduce it again and see what happens. Generally, liquid food enters your system within 1-2 hours, so would likely show up in your milk in about that time as well.

Well, it takes 8 seconds for it to hit the stomach and it goes directly to the blood stream which goes to the milk, so I'd guess within an hour for sure.
