amazon because you don't have to bid, and the sellers are usually more dependable.

Depends on what your looking for, if its used books amazon as you can find them as low as a dollar sometimes even less plus not an auction. If your looking for anything else use ebay. I always check ebays prices before I buy especially collectables.
